We are a full-service event planning company with experience in everything from corporate events and festivals to bespoke events and exhibitions. It is always helpful to have a team of experienced professionals on hand to handle the logistics and details of planning and executing events, especially when it comes to complex events that require a lot of coordination and customization.
The furniture department is responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of furniture and setup for your event. This may include working with event planners and designers to determine the furniture needs for the event, selecting and even fabricating your furniture, arranging for delivery and setup, and overseeing the installation and placement of the furniture and decor. The furniture department may also be responsible for coordinating with other departments, such as audio-visual and lighting, to ensure that all elements of the event are coordinated and set up correctly. After the event, the furniture department may also be responsible for coordinating the breakdown and removal of the furniture. Having a team of designers and stylists to assist with the look and feel of your event can be very helpful in achieving the desired atmosphere and aesthetic. Designers can work with you to understand your event goals and create a cohesive look and feel that aligns with your vision. They can help to design and select decor, furniture, and other elements to create a visually appealing environment that enhances the overall experience for attendees. Interior design is a key focus for our team at Evolution Events, as it can have a significant impact on the overall atmosphere and experience of an event or exhibit. In designing Santa's House at Expo Christmas 2022, we considered the elements of interior design to create the desired atmosphere and achieve our goal of a magical and hearth warming experience.
Some key elements of interior design to consider when planning your project should include: • Colour: The colours you choose can help set the tone and mood of the space. Consider using warm, festive colours like red and green to create a holiday atmosphere, or cooler tones like blue and white to create a more calming and peaceful vibe. • Lighting: Proper lighting is essential to creating the desired atmosphere. Think about the type of lighting you'll use, such as natural light, artificial light, or a combination of both. • Furniture and decor: The furniture and decor you choose can help to create a cohesive look and feel for the space. Consider using pieces that are in line with the theme of the event or exhibit, and be sure to choose items that are functional and comfortable for your guests. • Layout and flow: The layout of the space is important for creating a cohesive and engaging experience. Consider the flow of traffic and the positioning of different areas within the space to create a logical and easy-to-navigate layout. By considering these elements and how they can be used to support your goals, you can create an interior design project that enhances the overall atmosphere and experience, just like Santa's House at Expo Christmas 2022. Things never really go out of style, and if they do, sometimes a simple fabric or colour change can breathe new life into anything. We have been searching through our current inventory to pick out the ideal pieces for refurbishment and reinvention. Our upholsterers can restore classic furniture to new by tracking down perfectly matched, period-specific fabric design or give them a whole new life with modern fabrics and bright finishes to suit a variety of décor styles. The whole furniture team are enjoying this process. It’s fun and allows us to work out our design muscles; and it’s allowed us to modernize and expand our furniture rental choices in a cost-effective way. Here’s one of our favourite examples; our signature three-seater sofa. A simple fabric change has completely updated and reinvigorated an existing piece!
Whatever your event styling, furniture or interior design needs, with the Evolution team’s drive to keep our collection up to date and on-trend, you can be sure we’ll be able to offer you a unique range of options to suit your style. There is a lot that goes into planning an event. One aspect of event planning that has recently become a major focus is theming and event styling. The look and feel of the event – whether it’s a birthday, corporate event or a wedding. Everyone talks about it after they leave. Colours are the first thing that comes to mind when we start to theme a space, event, or a venue. Mustard is the perfect example of a rarely-used colour that brings a unique freshness to a room. A little goes a long way! Mustard is the kind of colour that you can use sparingly and still make a statement. Just an addition of cushions on a pair of sofas uplifts the mood. A Concentrated colour… Another approach for mustard is to go all out but keep it in a concentrated space. Colours like these highlights the mood & take all the attention so plan the space properly for all the mustard you have. Unexpected combinations!
One of the best things about 'risky' colours like mustard is that they can really surprise you. As a rich, a matte, they can add depth to both summer & winter shades. Any colour can be an all-season colour when applied with the right touch. Try out our furniture accessories and styling & let us cool your space with the new shade! |
