Duroor Nights transformed the natural surroundings of Wadi Modaynah Dam into an immersive outdoor destination where visitors could participate in astronomy workshops and evening experiences inspired by the region's desert landscape. Evolution Furniture supplied, delivered, installed and de-rigged the complete furniture package, creating comfortable hospitality environments that complemented the setting while supporting visitor comfort throughout the programme.

The Challenge

Delivering hospitality furniture within an outdoor landscape requires a different approach to traditional event venues. Furniture must complement the surrounding environment while creating comfortable spaces for visitors to gather, relax and participate in scheduled activities.

For Duroor Nights, the challenge was to establish welcoming hospitality environments across the site using furniture that reflected the project's sustainable, desert-inspired aesthetic while remaining practical for temporary installation and operation.

Space Planning & Guest Experience

Furniture layouts were organised to establish comfortable gathering points throughout the site while maintaining clear circulation between activity areas. Lounge settings encouraged informal interaction, while majlis seating reflected the cultural character of the project and created inviting places for visitors to relax.

The considered layout ensured hospitality environments felt connected to the surrounding landscape, providing comfortable spaces without interrupting the natural flow of the venue.
