Held during the UAE Year of Sustainability, the setting used eco-friendly furnishings in beige and natural tones to complement the surrounding desert landscape and support the event's sustainability focus.

Pieces from the Sloan, Cuthbert, Ralph, Trino, Brooke, Najd, Stacey, Ana, Tuti and Fennco ranges were incorporated into the environment, providing the comfort and functionality required for the workshop while maintaining a consistent visual approach.

The project demonstrates how furniture selection can respond directly to the location rather than being considered independently from it.

Sikka Art Festival: Outdoor Dining + Hospitality

Outdoor dining requires a balance between guest capacity, comfort, service requirements and the wider creative direction of the event.

At Sikka Art Festival in Al Bastakiya in 2024, Evolution Furniture delivered an intimate outdoor dining environment for 26 guests.

The setting combined natural wooden furniture with subtle blue accents to complement the festival's creative character. Pieces from the Sloan and Carissa ranges were used alongside flower green walls, with furniture, styling and props coordinated as part of the overall environment.

Sikka demonstrates how outdoor dining furniture can contribute to more than the practical requirements of a meal. Material, colour, layout and décor can work together to reinforce the identity of the event while maintaining a functional hospitality setting.

Al Wathba: Creating an Outdoor Lounge Environment

Outdoor lounge furniture can help create more informal spaces for hospitality, conversation and private events.

For a private anniversary celebration in the Al Wathba Desert in 2024, Evolution Furniture developed a Boho-inspired setting that responded to the natural character of the location.

The setup combined rattan furniture and pallet pieces with jute rugs and pouffes, while furniture from the Baja and Bella ranges was incorporated alongside additional natural accents.

The combination of warm tones and natural textures complemented the desert surroundings while providing comfortable lounge areas for the couple and their guests.
