    For the inauguration of the Majid Al Futtaim Mosque at Tilal Al Ghaf, Dubai, Evolution Furniture delivered a sophisticated hospitality environment designed to complement the importance of the occasion. Drawing inspiration from traditional majlis settings, the furniture scheme combined warm timber finishes, neutral upholstery and refined styling to create comfortable spaces for VIP guests to gather, reflect and connect throughout the event.


    Every furniture selection contributed to a calm and welcoming atmosphere, balancing contemporary hospitality with understated elegance. Soft seating, occasional tables and carefully styled floral arrangements worked together to transform the venue into an environment that felt both premium and respectful while supporting the operational requirements of a prestigious inauguration. 

    The Challenge

    The inauguration required a temporary hospitality environment that reflected the cultural and architectural significance of the new mosque while maintaining the premium standards associated with a VIP event.


    Rather than creating a conventional lounge, the furniture needed to establish a welcoming majlis-inspired setting that encouraged conversation, comfort and hospitality without distracting from the occasion itself. Every element needed to contribute to a cohesive visual identity built around natural materials, soft neutral colours and timeless furniture design.

    Space Planning & Guest Experience

    The furniture layout was organised around welcoming majlis-style seating clusters that encouraged conversation while allowing guests to move comfortably throughout the venue.


    Rather than relying on large continuous seating arrangements, the environment was divided into smaller hospitality settings that created a more intimate guest experience. Cocktail tables and occasional furniture provided additional flexibility, supporting informal interaction while preserving clear circulation throughout the temporary environment.

    For Sikka Art Festival 2024, Evolution Furniture delivered an intimate outdoor dining environment within the historic Al Bastakiya district of Dubai. Working with a palette of natural timber furniture accented with carefully selected blue styling elements, the installation created a welcoming hospitality setting that reflected the creative atmosphere of the festival while remaining practical for outdoor dining.


    The finished space demonstrated how carefully planned furniture layouts and coordinated styling can transform a compact courtyard into an inviting hospitality environment without overwhelming its heritage surroundings.

    The Challenge

    Creating an outdoor dining environment within a heritage setting required a furniture scheme that respected the character of the location while supporting a comfortable guest experience.


    The furniture needed to feel authentic to the surrounding architecture, introduce subtle contemporary styling and accommodate an intimate dining arrangement for 26 guests. Every element had to work together to create a cohesive environment that enhanced the setting without competing with it.

    The dining layout was planned around a single intimate hospitality setting accommodating 26 guests.


    Furniture positioning encouraged comfortable dining while preserving movement throughout the courtyard and maintaining open views of the surrounding heritage buildings. Decorative planting and carefully coordinated table styling helped define the hospitality environment without creating unnecessary visual clutter.


    The result was a welcoming outdoor dining space that encouraged conversation and complemented the artistic setting through thoughtful furniture planning rather than excessive decoration.

    The Life Story of a Lounge Chair

    Every piece of event furniture has a story.


    A lounge chair might be photographed at a product launch one week, welcome guests at a corporate conference the next and then become part of a VIP lounge at a sporting event.


    While guests only see the finished result, that chair has already travelled quite a journey before anyone sits down.

    It starts in the warehouse

    Every event begins in the warehouse.


    Before a chair leaves the building, it is selected, inspected and prepared for loading. The upholstery is checked, the frame is cleaned and any marks are removed so it arrives looking its best.


    Only when it's ready does it join the rest of the furniture for the event.

    Then it's loaded onto the truck

    Loading a truck isn't simply about fitting in as much furniture as possible.


    Every item is loaded in an order that makes installation easier at the venue. Chairs for one area are grouped together, while furniture for another part of the event is loaded separately.
